Moderators
Oct 12 2008, 6:43 PM EDT What is so special about Moderators? Wetpaint seems to love them and put them below Administrators! Administrators do more than Moderators on the sites I've been to. From what I've seen, it looks like Moderator's just a way of saying "lower-ranked Admin." 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Moderators
Oct 12 2008, 6:46 PM EDT "Moderators help manage and guide the community in addition to creating content for the site. Moderators can delete pages, lock pages from being edited, and move and reorganize pages on the site. "Yeah I took this from the page and admins do this too. Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 16 2008, 7:16 PM EDT "And Moderators can do everything Admins can do. Holy Crap! They're all the same!"Moderators cannot do everything Administrators can do. There's quite a lot of things that Admins can do that Moderators can't. Most of the site settings are available only to Administrators. Do you find this valuable? |

Administrators can do more than Moderators, but Creators are the same as Admins. Look at the user permission chart. http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Sites+That+Require+Registration 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Oct 16 2008, 7:33 PM EDT Moderators can use all of the editing tools, and ban and promote members. Administrators have access to the site settings. Do you find this valuable? |
