Oct 1 2008, 9:43 AM EDT my boyfriend and I share an e-mail adress at gmail. he opened a wetpaint site and although there was an initial problem with the e-mail adress, wetpaint soon corrected it an opened his site. today, I have wasted well over an hour at an internet cafe trying to open a site for myself. I am an artist and it will be very important exposure for me and I LOVE THE NAME.... BUT - wetpaint keeps telling me that my e-mail adress is invalid!!!!!!!! its driving me NUTS because I already have confirmation of my boyfriend's site ON MY E-MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WHY<WHY<WHY<WHY Do you find this valuable? |

Oct 1 2008, 12:05 PM EDT Your email address is already in use for another account. Instead of signing up for a new account, use the one that already exists. At Step 3 in the Create Your Own Wiki process, select the option at the top that says "Yes, I have a Wetpaint account" and then sign in. Remember that the username of an account is not the same as the email address. Do you find this valuable? |

Nov 6 2008, 1:52 PM EST Perhaps wetpaint should consider a different error message. I just tried setting up a new account -forgetting that I set up a trial account long ago - and the error message I get sayd "this appears to be an invalid email address." My email address is valid....the error message should say "this email address is already in use on another account." Do you find this valuable? |
