password "reset" vs "resend"

Could we have consistency in the system messages and what is actually happening? Why does the system offer "sending password" to email rather than "sending password reset" to email? I expect to see my password and instead I have to enter a new one. No biggie but I was expecting what the message said to expect. . Thanks again! Do you find this valuable?
