Selecting images from album to post
Sep 21 2008, 12:27 AM EDT
Currently the image posting system is kinda primitive. I mean, we have painstakingly organized our photos and images in the gallery into well sorted albums. Yet, when we try to post an existing image, we are forced to browse through ALL of the existing images within the album, instead of just going into an album and searching from there. This is most troublesome if the image you're looking for happens to be hidden deep within the gallery from long long ago.

The search textbar is not much of a help, especially if you don't know the exact name of the image [as image names are hardly verbose, due to the limitations on the filename and conflicting filenames].

So, it would be best if we are able to go directly to an album and find the image we want to post, instead of searching through all the images in the gallery in chronological order. =) Thank you very much.

I mentioned a problem a month or so back re photos that are in albums are also on the gallery and if deleted from the gallery they are deleted from the album, really a waste of space have separate albums and a gallery. Being able to use albums as a separate thing would perhaps help cardinal4's problem. I see WETPAINTS own gallery also has duplicated photos, will this be looked at in the near future. Meanwhle I've asked members on the site I'm on not to use the albums till this is changed. Many thanks
