requestinvite page gone

Hey all..

I have a link on my site to a page that used to exist: /page/requestinvite/

This was so that anyone who signed up as a registered user could request to be promoted to a writer. I'd like to keep this functionality. Was the page renamed or does this feature still exist? How can a registered user as to be promoted, aside from sending a message to a moderator?

If you're a Registered User on an Invitation Required or Private site, there's a button at the top of every page that says Apply to be a Writer.

If you'd still like to have a link for it, use /requestInvite/writer Do you find this valuable?
