Possible Bug - top contributors

Firefox 3 - Win XP sp 2

The top contributors does not appear to work beyond the 1st 20 members. I have some members - with full profiles and pics and have contributed more than others - that do not appear in that little top contributors box on the main screen. The only coincidence is that they are on page 2 of the wiki membership. Is this possible? Do you find this valuable?

Nope, this is not a bug. The top contributors box acts as a 'spotlight' for new members (even the ones with 1 contribution) and a spotlight for those who have the most contributions. The top contributor cloud updates every 12 hours.

Well, these new contributors seem to stay right on the Top Contributors page for a looong time. I have been in the number 9 or 10 spot for top contributors for quite some time yet I have never appeared on the Top Contributor cloud. And yes I have a picture uploaded in my profile.
Here's the thing - while this Top Contributor cloud is 'supposed to' introduce and inspire and spotlight - it also serves to irritate people like me that have worked so hard and do not get their moment in the spotlight, and for me, decreases, exponentially, my wanting to continue to contribute.
If you think I'm being very moody about this - well - that's exactly right Do you find this valuable?
