Some quick questions...
Sep 5 2008, 8:49 PM EDT
I assume the pricing is based on revenue that Wetpaint loses and is basically asking us to pick up the cost of advertising, which strikes me as a perfectly reasonable arrangement (kudos, although I can't really afford $10 or $15 a month yet for what is essentially a hobby, but in the future I might go with it.)More questions: 1) Are we free to use that space to sell advertising to defray our costs, either through our own Google AdWords membership or through some other ad program? 2) When you say "no promotion across the Wetpaint network", does that mean Wetpaint won't promote my site or does it simply mean the Wetpaint promotion block goes? 3) Is there a page featuring full Terms and Conditions relating to this subscription offer or is it just the paragraph after that asterisk above? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

1) There would be no point in that, you would just be replacing ads with ads and probably won't even break even (I doubt that Wetpaint makes at least $10 on ads on every site).2) I am not sure what that means. I think that you won't promote any other sites is what it means 3) That is it, the only terms are on this page and the full Wetpaint terms and conditions have not been updated since October ( http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/terms ). Hi SimuLord, thanks for your questions. Here are my responses:1. Currently this is not an option--however, I'll record your request and we'll address it as we move out of Beta (timing TBD). 2. The terms for the beta are outlined on this page. If you have any specific questions let me know. MB 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

1. I would love to be able to pay wetpaint to not have their ads and put our ads there instead at $10/20,000 thats basically .50 CPM - its not too hard to get that back if you have a decent amount of traffic.
