Yea we got a problem here. You know where the Ads on the sites are? I now definatly do! This one ad says "meet young, sexy asians in YOUR area TODAY" there's more. Another one says "45 and over? Need a playmate? Click here!"

I also have seen these sites. They're on "Other" wikis. As you can see above, they get pretty nasty (not to mention downright odd). 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

They're not Wetpaint sites, but the ads paid by said site owner. Which is a sick freak who has dating porn sites. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Wetpaint why do you ignore only the good threads and answer the stupid ones?
This is a HUGE problem. It's still coming up now with actual naked people on it! It's no Pamela Anderson either, it's a 47 year old women!

If you're seeing these kinds of ads consistently, they aren't coming from Wetpaint. I suggest you run an adware/spyware detection program on your computer. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

How are they NOT coming from Wetpaint if they're on the side where all the NORMAL ads are? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Those ads are normally served by Google AdSense. We have arranged our Google ad account to ensure that adult content does not make it into our normal ad slots.

What the adware does is look for the Google AdSense JavaScript in our pages and replace that code with it's own code to retrieve other ads, which may contain offensive content. Removing adware/spyware will take care of it.

"Virus software usually doesn't catch adware or spyware."
Yeah. For Say like Norton, Flying Piggy, Norton Does Spyware and Viruses. Norton Does NOT run for Adware. If you download something that deletes Adware, then they could go away. But if not, the "invisible ads" ,as they call them, will start to go deep into your hardware with taking ALL information the computer including passwords, credit card information, etc. You need to download that before it gets worse.

Hope this helps.

I'm not getting random pop ups. Only on the side... but I guess it's minor, seeing that it only comes on certain Wetpaint sites. Do you find this valuable?

If you need to have a site that does not include ads, there is an option to pay for a premium ad-free site. You can find details on this option at http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Wetpaint+Premium+Sites Do you find this valuable?
