I have had issues in the past with certain members starting "flame wars" and being "trolls" but I know one in particular that can be very annoying.
I will reply to this thread with the information that I am going to share because it is a bit lengthy.

I am staying anonymous as not to offend the person, we are personal aquaintances, but they have been making new accounts and rejoining my wiki. This would not be a problem, but I also have members who are continuously re-premoting this person so that they can write on my site. I was hoping that there is a way to prevent this person from returning over and over, because they are also sabotaging my site in the process. I have banned them multiple times and have not been successful in preventing them from accessing my site. Is there a way that I could....

1. Figure out who is promoting them so I could stop the problem at the source.

or

2. Keep them from re-entering my site under any of their accounts.

They have lately become inactive, but on every occasion, I find that they have attacked another of my pages.

1. Click on the "Updates" tab on the nav bar. You can find out who is promoting them there.
2. Ban all of their sock puppet accounts. If they continue to create new accounts, we can IP ban them from your Wiki.

I'm not positive.

I think what Baby_Apple is saying, is that they will permanently ban the person from joining ALL wetpaint sites.

Yes, it's called a Global Ban.

Banning an IP will not cause a global ban for that user. They will only be banned from the wiki they were IP banned from. The ability to global ban is only available to Wetpaint staff and once a user has been globally banned, it's permanent, they can not be unbanned. Do you find this valuable?
