Thread listing by most current date option
Aug 9 2008, 4:19 PM EDT Is there a way to have the Discussion Forum page list threads with the most current thread at the top of the list, rather than at the bottom? 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 9 2008, 4:27 PM EDT Actually the listing of threads on the Discussion Forum is listing all topics with the most current on the top of the page. However, once you open a topic and the thread listing then lists the most current reply on the bottom of the page ... is that what you want to change? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 9 2008, 4:30 PM EDT yes that is exactly what I am referring to ..... for instance, I would like to see even this reply be listed at the top of the page rather than the bottom ... the reason: when there are a lot of replies, it takes too long and is a bother to have to constantly scroll down to the last entry to see that reply ... I think the site would be a lot more efficient with the most current reply on the top of the list. I have not found a way to change that feature in our wiki site .... has anyone been able to change that listing default feature? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 14 2008, 12:12 AM EDT Definitely: as discussions threads get long, having to scroll down to the end all the time is a big pain. I've seen other systems where the original question stays at top, but all the replies are in reverse chronological order. Is there a setting somewhere to display a discussion with the post newest first? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
