My wiki got copied

Hi, I have a wiki, named http://gadgetfreek.co.nrSomeone made a wiki, very much similar to mine http://gadgetmaniac.wetpaint.com They even copied my previous banner, my toolbar, my articles, images, everything ...! The creator is Brooksapb Please, you guys do something ...! 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

I can confirm this. They have copied articles word for word and portions of the website are also GadgetFreek.

This isn't fair! I saw that wiki and it looks VERY similar..even the same..as Gadget Freak.You can't copy ideas like that so he can't say that it is just a coninicdence! I really hope Wetpaint does something about it. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

"This isn't fair! I saw that wiki and it looks VERY similar..even the same..as Gadget Freak.They copied every single thing. I had given the two creators a day to clear the copied things, which I think they didn't care to do. Well, now, I informed Madhusha, GreenArrow and Jeremy about this matter. Hope, they'll respond soon. You guys please, keep posting, so that this thread gets to be the most important on wetpaintcentral! i think thats really mean. Copying someones ideas. Its probably ok if you look at something and then change it to make it your own but to copy it word for word... !!!

If they had asked me for any help, I would gladly have, like I have done to others. Instead, they chose to go for the easier and ineffective way ...! This is a complete shame!! I am disgusted with what has happenend here, this site has been robbed by someone who has absloutely no morrals. I would like to see this person made accountable for thier actions. Here at gadgetfreak we pride ourselves on our ability to add various tech stuff and help others understand it and this is robbing us of our ability to do this. totally. if you copy something like an idea and change it then its ok. but if you copy a whole site excatly its just wrong...
