Custom URLs not working on What's New Page
Aug 6 2008, 4:57 PM EDT On my wiki, when users navigate on any of my pages, they get "http://www.alaxianlegend.com/page/whatever", but if they're monitoring "What's New" and click into the stream from there, the URL resets itself to "kyralia.wetpaint.com" (my site's original title). I'd like to get consistent Alaxian Legend URLs for all visitors at all times---is this a bug in the system? Do you find this valuable? |

Aug 6 2008, 5:38 PM EDT Your domain is resolving to the wrong IP Address. You need to set up the CName record for your domain properly according to our instructions on the Custom URL page at http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Custom+URL Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Custom URLs not working on What's New Page
Aug 6 2008, 7:19 PM EDT "Your domain is resolving to the wrong IP Address. You need to set up the CName record for your domain properly according to our instructions on the Custom URL page at http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Custom+URL"I've done that, and if I type AlaxianLegend.com into the browser, it correctly points to my Wetpaint site. However, if I (or my users) go to What's New, where it says (for example) "SimuLord updated the Beast Wars page", and someone clicks on Beast Wars, the link leads to http://kyralia.wetpaint.com/page/Beast+Wars, rather than http://www.alaxianlegend.com/page/Beast+Wars like it's supposed to. What's New is the only area of the site that does it. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Custom URLs not working on What's New Page
Aug 6 2008, 7:36 PM EDT Opps, you're right, it's pointing at the right place. We've got a slight misconfiguration in a script that's causing us to not think it's pointing in the right place. Should be fixed soon. Do you find this valuable? |
