Threads don't pull up associated photos
Aug 3 2008, 1:33 AM EDT
When you start a thread form a photo, it shows up when you visit the photo, but if you go to the thread, the photo doesn't show up.
I started a thread on our private wiki because one of the photos was just awesome. I titled it "Great Photo" and wrote my compliment. When I clicked on the "What's New" tab I saw that I had started a thread. I clicked on the link and was taken to the thread, but there was no photo to be seen. I thought maybe I'd screwed up (it's happened before, see http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/thread/1717978/Nice+design) so I deleted that thread and wrote it again. Same results. Third time I put a link to the photo in my comments and even though it still didn't display when I went to the thread, at least a person could find the photo I was talking about.
Starting a thread from a photo should do one of two things:
1 - Take you to the photo with the thread displayed or
2 - Automatically append the photo's address to the end of the thread

Threads will provide a link to the page that the thread was posted on. At the top, the link will be next to Location: ... 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Oh, dummy me.
Didn't even think to look up. Once you know it's there it a no brainer.
Thanks for the enlightenment.
Wasn't it Mork that used to say that?
