I cannot upload any Photos

I cannot upload any Photos from my PC. After I attempt I receive the error message: 'An Error has occured while uploading your picture.' I have updated my Adobe Flash Player as posted on the WIKI central site as a recommendation, but alas, to no sucess. I still have not been sucessful. I see many others have had this problem but I havent found any clear answers. Advice?

Some posts recommended I start a new account and it could fix the problem. I started a new account and i STILL cant upload photos. Has this happened to anyone else?

I am having the same problem. It started when I got a message that my website was going under maintenance, and I would not be able to do any editing for awhile. I waited until the next day, and that is when I started getting the message to update my adobe flashplayer. When I updated it my browse button for my hard drive/ PC wouldn't work and I could not access any of my pictures to place in the Photo Gallery. It did however allow me to access pictures from the Yahoo website. I also cannot upload any of my attachments from my PC either. I have used both the AOL browser and Internet Explorer, neither of them work. I have an educational website: Mrs. Young's ESL Scene. I have been working with this problem for almost a week now! As I said, everything was going fine until I received that first maintenance message in small red letters. Who was doing the maintenance? Please Help!!

Wow, I was just coming here to submit this myself, looks like someone beat me to it. I'm with ya, I installed the latest Flash, TWICE, and I still get the "error while uploading" thing. I'm running IE7 if that helps, should I be using Firefox? I find that I can upload a banner from my harddrive, but when it comes to regular pics from my harddrive, it's no good.

i get a message that to upgrade my adobe flash player, but i've done this. the browse box is greyed out and i can't upload any pictures. Why is this?

If you're getting that message, we're unable to detect that you've upgraded flash. Sometimes this happens if you upgraded Flash while browser windows were still open. Have you tried restarting your browsers? What browser and operating system are you using?

i'm using firefox, but it was the same problem in IE. i'm using Firefox latest version.

In Firefox, enter:about:plugins into your address bar and hit return. Please let me know what version of Flash it says you're running. Do you find this valuable? |

i've got the latest version of Flash as above, and sadly still no luck. i've closed all browsers, removed the old versions and re-installed with no luck.. sigh....

FlashBlock is one, but there are a few. Are you behind a strict firewall? What OS and Browser version are you running?

hi jasonthx for the help, i've solved the problem thx to you and phil_wetpaint via messages. i just found out what was the problem... simple. i've got flashblok installed,and it never caused a problem before, but to get the wetpaint site workign i need to add it to the Flashblok whitelist. something to note to others. very much thx for your help. much appreciated that you and your colleague took time out to help me. Not directly to wetpaint. You would first have to upload them to a hosting site like youtube and grab the embedded code which can be placed into the other widgets tool of Easyeadit on your page. Another option is www.box.net. You upload your swf files on box net and grab the embedded code from them. Box net has a built in player which is great. Just click on the title and it will play on your wilki
