UPLOADING PICS MAJOR ISSUES
Jul 23 2008, 3:36 AM EDT Tried to upload pics. Couldn't do it. Updated Flash Player. Can't upload pics. Cleared Cookies. Can't upload pics. Updated all ADOBE applictions. Can't upload pics. Cleaned PC using CCleaner. Can't upload pics. Tried resizing pics using various programs: ACDSee, CS3, PicResizer. CANNOT UPLOAD PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANNOT UPLOAD PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANNOT UPLOAD PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CANNOT UPLOAD PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody HELP! 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I love the WIKI site my wife and I are involved with and we don't want to stop adding to the site. I was interviewed by Wet Paint and our work was featured on Wet Paint. Here is the fix. Create a new account. It sounds dumb but it works. Wet Paint has a bug that when it messes up, you have to erase what you have done and start over. I have created dozens of pages and found this bug months ago. For instance if a cell locks on centered text instead of left text. The only solution I have found is to erase the cell and start over. The same sort of bug hit me. When the change happened a note came up to up upgrade flash, I did and some how this froze the photo feature. I created a new account and bingo I not longer have the problem. I am going to discuss this with a friend who help start EARTH LINK. By the way this is one freaky site. I am going to block it from children, I thought that Wet Paint Center would be the flag ship site but it is a nightmare. The vulgarity, the rudeness, the insane post make it more like the Jerry Springer show. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 29 2008, 8:36 PM EDT I now have two profiles. One can upload pictures the other can not. The non working account does every thing except load pictures from a URL or from my computer. It can load from yahoo pictures or it can use windows copy and paste to a page but not the photo gallery. I have sent pictures but I have not recieved an answer. I am not angry so don't jump my case for posting this message. This is a very confrontational web site. . Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 29 2008, 8:46 PM EDT I am not a computer expert. But when the new photo system started I got a message as I was attempting to upload a picture that asked me to up grade flash. Flash loaded but during the process a page came up that said this page has moved? It seemed rather odd because the new page was blank with a single comment on it. Do you find this valuable? |

Create a brand new account as if you never had an account. Something in my old account does not work with the new format. The new accounts do not have the problem. I would be willing to bet it not new accounts complaining with the problems but us long term users. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 29 2008, 9:30 PM EDT ok the ones that I have that are hving problems have all upgraded flash as per the request that comes up when trying to post.....they do not remember the previous versions....all are using xp home or xp pro with sp 2.....the browsers are ie 7..... hope this helps you with the issue but as a temp I may have them create a new profile....and see Thanks Do you find this valuable? |
