NUU!!! Images won't load!!!

I have all these really cool pictures that I want to use and they just won't load no matter how mnay different ways I've tried!!!! Could you please just put it back to the way it was????~Howlingstar (Sry, I'm too lazy to log in) 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

Thank you.(Still too lazy to log in) I'll have to do it once my computer gets back -_-' It's bugged and now getting fixed thankfully. Im on my grandma's computer right now. Do you find this valuable? |

But still no go - still says: An error occurred while attempting to upload your photo. Been now to 5 diff PCs in 2 diff companies and all do the same... What next? Do you find this valuable? |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Shockwave for videos? If my memory serves me correctly, jpeg is one of the acceptable formats for a photo so that it can be uploaded. Then I believe there is also a file size of 500 kb for the photo. I always set my own limit on that to be about 480 kb or less. Use any of the photo editing applications available and get your photos into the acceptable parameters and try again.

The problem is with Wet Paint. There are several people on my WIKI that are having the problem since they changed the format. If they wish to ignore problems they will loose customers.What Abode does have is a web interface called "Abobe Flash Player."Adobe Flash Player is the standard for delivering high-impact, rich Web content. Designs, animation, and application user interfaces are deployed immediately across all browsers and platforms.Do you find this valuable? |

We don't ignore problems - we try to fix them for as many people as we can.For a vast majority of people, upgrading to the latest version of Flash does the trick. For some people, it doesn't and we have to do some diagnostic work, which can be difficult with non-technical people and their computers which we don't have access to. If you're having trouble uploading an image, have you tried putting in one from Yahoo! images? Have you tried downloading an image from a Wetpaint site and then uploading it? Have you tried uploading an image from a URL? Do you have a URL that you can list of an image you can't upload? Did you email your image to our support team so we could see what it was? Telling us it "doesn't work" and then getting angry about it doesn't help us one bit to solve the problem, which we desperately want to do for you. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Third I have tried to up load from a URL "Photo Bucket" with no luck. One of the users with the same problem is loading her photos to "Photo Bucket" first and this works for her. A poor fix in my opinion. Fourth getting angry with me does not solve the problem but makes your users the bad guys for reporting an issue. I have been building a large base of data for the Travel Channel on the "cash & Treasures" WIKi and have giving many hours of work to the project.. They say the best defense is a good offense, but I have no desire to exchange barbs with you. Thank you for your kind help. Do you find this valuable? |

I will be glad to that the label of the "Bad Guy" if I can get back to work on the project. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I have done the following:1. It will not load from a URL I got the message Opps You Have Discoved a BUG. 2. It will not load from my browser. I have checked the size It is within limits. 3.It will not load from a wet paint site sent to my pictures. I get a message that says Complete followed by a Error message. 4 It does load from Yahoo images. 5, I did not send a picture to you because none will load. Thank you l Do you find this valuable? |

I have removed all of my Adobe Soft Ware and reloaded it. I can not load to the WIKI.Do you find this valuable? |

I got a bar and a Add Picture button. I clicked the add picture and a yellow line crossed the bar and said complete. After a few seconds the message error appeared. I down loaded an image off this WIKI with the same results. 3. URLs I have tried are "Photo Bucket" and my Business Web site. I get a message that ether says Opps You have discoved a bug or an error message. 4. The operating system is Windows XP Media Center Addition 5. I am having the same problem, my computer is updated in everything ans the picture upload tool just keeps telling -----------> Uploading 0% complete for HOURS when the image is like 50Kb. I tried everything I could, I shrunk it, I made it lose quality, I changed it to all available formats. Nothing works... Can ANYONE actually solve this problem? And is there any other way to keep files in here? Like how to upload a picture so I can insert it in one of my pages without people having to go all the way to the photo albums?>_<! Very frustrated here. Do you find this valuable? |

You are not alone. There are a great many people in the same boat. I have spent literally hundreds of hours helping build a WIKI just to see my ability to use the site taken away by a bug in the program. I too am frustrated and believe all my work is out the window.

I should have thought of it before. When Wet Paint messes up it is easier to start over than to try and fix it.Try fixing a page that is messed up. Just start over its easier. I joined again and now it works. I will have to change a few things but at least I am back in the WIKI. I hope it works for you. I hope I will never come back to this WIKI for help again. It really was a bad experience."I found a fix. I hope it works for you. I almost pulled my hair with this problem. I love the WIKI site my wife and I are involved with and we don't want to stop adding to the site. I was interviewed by Wet Paint and our work was featured on Wet Paint. Here is the fix. Create a new account. It sounds dumb but it works. Wet Paint has a bug that when it messes up, you have to erase what you have done and start over. I have created dozens of pages and found this bug months ago. For instance if a cell locks on centered text instead of left text. The only solution I have found is to erase the cell and start over. The same sort of bug hit me. When the change happened a note came up to up upgrade flash, I did and some how this froze the photo feature. I created a new account and bingo I not longer have the problem. I am going to discuss this with a friend who help start EARTH LINK. By the way this is one freaky site. I am going to block it from children, I thought that Wet Paint Center would be the flag ship site but it is a nightmare. The vulgarity, the rudeness, the insane post make it more like the Jerry Springer show. Do you find this valuable? |
