Hmm. Can you go to the Help menu in your browser and then go to the About... option and post that information? Do you find this valuable?

I've tried that, and I can't do that. I also have IE, and it does not work there either. I have cleared all the cookies, but that does not help either. Do you find this valuable?

Have you restarted your browsers? What version of IE are you using? Do you find this valuable?

Can I suggest that Wetpaint reverts the new photo editions. I do like the orginisation, but I still cannot upload photos from my computer, after doing everything I needed to do, and when I did upload a photo from a different site, it flooded the "recent updates" section. This will help many users of Wetpaint who are experiencing problems, even after updating their flash. Do you find this valuable?

Me either!!! Uploading from the computer DOESN't work. It is not us. I have used various computers, on various networks, and none allow me to upload a pic from the local computer. So i have upload to flickr first then use the url link. A nuisance. Do you find this valuable?

I found a fit. I hope it works for you. I almost pulled my hair with this problem. I love the WIKI site my wife and I are involved with and we don't want to stop adding to the site. I was interviewed by Wet Paint and our work was featured on Wet Paint. Here is the fix. Create a new account. It sounds dumb but it works. Wet Paint has a bug that when it messes up, you have to erase what you have done and start over. I have created dozens of pages and found this bug months ago. For instance if a cell locks on centered text instead of left text. The only solution I have found is to erase the cell and start over. The same sort of bug hit me. When the change happened a note came up to up upgrade flash, I did and some how this froze the photo feature. I created a new account and bingo I not longer have the problem. I am going to discuss this with a friend who help start EARTH LINK. By the way this is one freaky site. I am going to block it from children, I thought that Wet Paint Center would be the flag ship site but it is a nightmare. The vulgarity, the rudeness, the insane post make it more like the Jerry Springer show.

I have not heard of any problems with uploading photos in a while. Where are you trying to upload it to? (photo gallery, profile, page, etc.) And what type of computer system do you have? What type of photos are you trying o upload.

And for flickr, sometimes photos do not work with a URL unless the URL is just the picture itself.

Thanks for your response. I was trying to create a simple photoalbum and I couldn't do. The same error message kept appearing. As for flickr, i suspected that the url was for the entire page and not just the picture. Why can't Wetpaint post clear instructions as to how to extract the pictures from these photosharing sites on to my wetpaint wiki. I have not had any problems downloading to my blog. What's wrong with wetpaint???

So I am guessing you created an album and tried to upload photos? This may be a bug, try emailing info@wetpaint.com.

Wetpaint is not very good when it comes to codes. It was created wher anyone can create a website with as easy as click and type. If there is an embedable code, you can click on widgets>other and place the code.

Anonymous user, please go to the site testphotoupload.wetpaint.com to see some information on debugging known problems with uploading photos.

I cannot help you with uploading single photos from flickr. As edwardandbellafan says, flickr may not make actual photo URLs available, in which case you can't upload flickr-hosted photos to Wetpaint by URL. (Flickr is not a file-hosting service.) You'd be best off figuring out why you can't upload photos directly from your computer, which the site above will help you with.
