Attached Files Don't Work
Jul 10 2008, 6:05 AM EDT I have tried adding files (pdfs, spreadheets, maybe docs) to wiki pages. Upload seems to go ok, but when I try to view the attached docs I always get a "connection reset by server" message instantly. Here is an example: http://bcrim.wetpaint.com/page/Interim+Report+to+Board+-+July+2008 Using Firefox 2.0.0.15 (but tried it with at least one other brand of browser and got the same result) with XP Home sp2. Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 10 2008, 7:10 PM EDT The PDF file on this link loaded fine for me. Where are you trying to access this file from? For example, is it a public/university computer. There may be Firewall settings preventing you from downloading files. Try from a home or other private computer and see if you are able to view an attachment from there. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jul 11 2008, 12:48 AM EDT Bingo. I use Zone Alarm Pro. When I turned it off the attachments loaded. Now I need to figure out how to set ZAP so the attachments load when the firewall is running. Not a Wet Paint issue I think but, If you happen to know how to do this, I would love to hear from you. Thanks. -Dan Do you find this valuable? |
