how do i change the subdomain name of the wiki?
Jul 7 2008, 7:18 PM EDT i made a typo on my wiki creation, let say i meant to create 'http://xyz.wetpaint.com' but ended up with 'http://xxx.wetpaint.com' how can i change the subdomain section of the url so i can have 'http://xyz.wetpaint.com'? if i have to delete and re-create, how would i delete this wiki, so my new one will not overlap? Do you find this valuable? |

Jul 7 2008, 7:43 PM EDT You cannot change your URL once it has been created. At this time, the Wetpaint interface does not offer a delete site or account feature. If you no longer want your Wetpaint site or account, no action is required on your part. Just leave the site alone and after a period of inactivity the site will automatically be deleted. If you have posted material to your site you do not wish to be publicly viewed, we recommend that you edit the pages to remove the content or, if you are a site creator or moderator, you can delete individual pages. We have instructions on how to cancel your membership to a specific site on http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Delete+a+Site If there is an urgent need to have a site deleted Wetpaint can do it manually on a case by case basis. Just provide your site URL and send the request from the email address associated to your account or verify your email address/username and password tied to your Wetpaint account. If you want to start over with a new site, just go to www.wetpaint.com/wiki and create a new site. You can have as many Wetpaint sites as you want, and all Wetpaint sites are free.
