help with sound and audio problems on my computer
Jul 6 2008, 3:58 AM EDT
i have a windows xp 95 that is having problems with sound and audio
my speakers dont work on the computer cause of this.
every time i try to listen to my media player or do other sound related things
it says this:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."
-and also say that theres something wrong with my sound card(i dont know what that is)

and when i try to convert music to my mp3 player (accurian with pd mediaconverter disc)
it says that the file is not supported by or file does not contain audio or sound codec.

PLEASE HELP....MUCH THANKS
