Top 500

I'm rather bemused. The Top 500 is based on the number of comments and edits on a site, is that right? I've never had a single comment posted on my site. And as a full-timer teacher I have only a limited amount of time for edits. Gone are the days I sat up all night! Yet I'm always in the Top 100.
Other sites, I see, attract scores of comments, yet rank much lower. Have you ever thought of basing ranking on number of visits instead? I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to set up a Wet Pait site meter. It might just be a more realistic indication of a site's popularity.
Do you find this valuable?
