received an invitation to a private wiki and went to wetpaint.com to create an account, but the link "sign-up" was not visible at the top of the page. My only option was "sign-in" which did not work because I have not yet created an account. How do I create the account? Do you find this valuable?

Anon, the only way you can join a private wiki is using the link in the invitation email. Click on this, or copy and paste the link text into your browser's address bar, and you will be taken directly to the signup page for the private wiki.
