there warrior sites, the most are www.warriorsfansite.wetpaint.com and lunastar.wetpaint.com. WFS (the first) has a hacker right now! and they demote all the admins so we cant ban him, the creator has left so she cant ban him, and then they delete pages and profiles!!!

Do you know the person's username and have you asked the two remaining administrators to do something? There are 8 administrators on the lunastar site. Are you sure that it isn't just some administrators tidying up the site by deleting unwanted pages?

im sure, this guy has never been an admin. WFS only has one admin left plus the creator who doesnt come on much anymore, weve messaged them but dunno if she got on yet. the user is Thrushfeather, he hacked and made himself an admin, demoted everyone to mod or writer so we cant ban him. we think hes the hacker Twigclaw from before.

"THERE ARE ALWAYS MAJOR HACKERS ON THE SITES IM ON, SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!! IM GETTING SO P/O AT THEM!!!"People's accounts get "hacked" because they share their password with someone or they just make their password too easy and someone guesses it. The site creator and administrators need to make sure their accounts are secure. If they are not, then the site will be susceptible to hackers. Do you find this valuable? |

The only way that can happen is if someone promoted them. The only person who can promote to Administrator is the Creator. As a precaution, I've banned Thrushfeather. I suggest you all change your passwords immediately. Do you find this valuable? |

True. Choose your Admins carefully. I strongly recommend only having 1 or 2 Admins per site.

We have a fairly large site though, over 1,600+ members so we actually need about 5 Admins for all the sections.

Moderators can handle anything related to content on the site. Administrators can control all aspects of the site, including custom domains and site appearance settings. Admins have the same permissions as Creators. There's no reason to have so many Administrators and it leaves the site open to vandalism. Wetpaint Central has over 22,000 members and several hundred contributions a day. We handle it with 20 moderators and 2 Administrators, both of whom are Wetpaint employees. Role Play sites (like WFS) have a lot of sections that need to be taken care of and watched over so we need the Admins to watch over an assigned section and divide up the pages to update daily with the Mods and Writers.
