No there isn't, not at this moment in time but you may be able to in the future.

"No there isn't, not at this moment in time but you may be able to in the future."I would like the ability to "Lock" the display photo of the album. I created an album for my wife and the image associated with it on the Albums page is that of our dog, Molly. Now, don't get me wrong, Molly is one cute dog, but ... 2 out of 2 found this valuable. This is also driving me nuts. I have tried deleting the album and then adding pictures back in one at a time. It seems that no matter what I do Wetpaint wants to show them in one particular order and that is it. It seems to be the order in which they are uploaded. Please, please add the feature to assign display order and to pick the album display photo. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Yes, this is really a limiting and problematic feature of Wetpaint. I have also deleted albums and re-added photos, even renaming them so that they might display in a numerical order. Sorting your photos by name has no impact on the order of photos in an album. So, for me, nothing has worked either. Wetpaint, please enable users to assign a display order and a cover image for their photos - I can do it on Flickr, Facebook, Kodak, and Picasa so it's not as if user selection of photo album order isn't possible!

yeah, not being able to control the order in an album makes it worthless to show a slide show that depends on an order to the pics.New feature please (it's just another integer field <g>) ;-) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I agree with all of the above. I'm working with my students on social problems / activism and I wanted them to alternate pictures in a slide show for a visual public service announcement. This eliminates that requirement. Why in the world is there not a feature for the writer to be able to select the order of the pictures?

"Why in the world is there not a feature for the writer to be able to select the order of the pictures?"Of course, the "brute force" work-around is to make a page manually with the photos exactly as you desire. There is even a template for this. Do you find this valuable? |

"Of course, the "brute force" work-around is to make a page manually with the photos exactly as you desire. There is even a template for this."For a webpage with a slide show, the brute force method is fine. A related thread uses PictoBrowser that appears to work fine: http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/PictoBrowser+to+display+Flickr+Sets That doesn't help me with my wife's album being identified with a picture of our dog. 1 out of 1 found this valuable.
