I want to know what happens with a wetpaint site that you no longer need or use? Can you cancel that site or what? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

At this time, the Wetpaint interface does not offer a delete site or account feature. If you no longer want your Wetpaint site or account, no action is required on your part. Just leave the site alone and after a period of inactivity the site will automatically be deleted. If you have posted material to your site you do not wish to be publicly viewed, we recommend that you edit the pages to remove the content or, if you are a site creator or moderator, you can delete individual pages.

We have instructions on how to cancel your membership to a site on http://www.wetpaintcentral.com/page/Cancel+Membership

If there is an urgent need to have a site deleted Wetpaint can do it manually on a case by case basis. Just provide your site URL and send the request from the email address associated to the site creator account.

If you want to start over with a new site, just go to www.wetpaint.com/wiki. You can have as many Wetpaint sites as you want, and all Wetpaint sites are free.

You cannot delete it. Just abandon it and after a certain while, it will no linger exist.

the problem with this method is that new members keep joining and posting threads-so the site seems active-so members back off-or take a chance of the creator coming back and deleting the work. It sucks either way. Do you find this valuable?

The site creator could always post something like "This Site Is No Longer Active" on the home page..... or any of the other pages for that matter. Do you find this valuable?

You could also ban all the members ( Eeekk...) and then make your site private, cancel your membership and eventually it will probably be gone. Do you find this valuable?
