Ad fee

I think that Wetpaint should have a 5 to ten dollar a month fee that allows wiki owners to take off the adds on their wiki and add their own if they want. I think that since Wetpaint no longer has just text ads they need to make it an option. Any comments? 4  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I think this is a great idea. The wiki I created is a private wiki for software users within our company. The ads give it a "cheesy" look and it would be much more professional if it did not have ads. Do you find this valuable?

They are already asking many people in emails to fill out a survey on wheter or not they would use it. If enough says yes they might start.

Yip and they have had a trial period were 50 users got the ads on the left-hand side removed (not the ads at the bottom) for a fee of $19.95. As dylandbogle said, Wetpaint are conducting a survey on how much you would be willing to pay and what you would like removed. Do you find this valuable?

A terrific idea. I'm setting up a town governmental committee wiki and the ads are a distraction and ultimately maybe a deterrent. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
