It takes longer if you maybe have a really big picture or if your computer runs slowly. Also if you already have a whole ton of pictures it might be slower.

Make sure the picture size is under 500K. If it takes 20 Minutes that is very odd, If your computer is old or slow it will have a effect on it as Hood said.
