Corporate-related Suggest-A-Site
Jun 6 2008, 3:57 PM EDT I completely understand why Wetpaint includes the standard wikis at the bottom of everyone's pages, however, another thread states that these wikis change every few weeks. I've had my wiki up since April 25, 2008, and they have not changed yet....hmmmm. But on to my suggestion....our business is using Wetpaint for corporate purposes and retail, entertainment, etc. wikis are not appropriate for our wiki. Would Wetpaint consider to allow wikis an option to display either other corporate wikis or entertainment wikis? In other words, make an option or have creator choose if wiki will be corporate or other, then default appropriate other wikis based on the selection? I only ask this as the executives of our company may ban our wiki due to the entertainment wiki links, however, if the links were to other corporate wikis, it may sit better with them. Jun 10 2008, 6:54 PM EDT actually its not always "entertainment" wikis that are displayed at the bottom of all the wiki sites, it DOES switch every now and then and its definately not always entertainment wikis that make it.. personally, i dont think its a huge deal, the advertisements are small and at the very bottom of the wikis... Do you find this valuable? |

In some cases the sites advertised will vary based on what category you selected for your site. Do you find this valuable? |

Jun 13 2008, 10:38 AM EDT This is quite timely for me. I created a webpage for my church just a few days ago and immediately as I took a look at the "Anita Blake" Wiki, I found it inappropriate. So in setting out to find a way to make a suggestion, I came across this "thread" --- the very first one I read! Isn't it amazing? So I am supporting the suggestion that displaying Wikis at the botom of the page should be Optional, or the user should be able to add his/her own wikis at the bottom of the page.
