Cannot access my wiki from my phone!!

Hey everyone at wetpaint- Do you have a link to your login page that doesn't require flash? I have recently added 2 wiki sites for 2 different companies and am getting complaints that your wiki pages CANNOT be accessed via sidekick, blackberry, etc.. For many of us that are travelling and need to check recent topic replies and other things, this is a BIG PROBLEM.

Again, the problem we're facing is logging into our accounts from our phones. There is no login page. The login page is a flash feature that can only be accessed by a computer. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!

If i've missed something, then please send me the link where my members can sign into their accounts because I have not been able to access mine from my phone, nor have my other members.

Logging in to Wetpaint requires JavaScript and third-party cookie support. Only full-fledged browsers can access Wetpaint and we only support Firefox 2.x, IE6/7, and Safari (although limited) at the current time. Many people report success using an iPhone, however.

If you have RSS readers on your phone you can access the RSS feeds available from your wiki (unless it's a Private wiki). 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

This is really too bad. That means everyone else without an iphone can't access your site. I hope your website can accommodate the rest of us at some point. Would be very very helpful!! Thanks for the reply.

It would be good for me, even just to allow thread posting on my PDA. You could try searching your website on http://www.google.com/gwt/n (google mobile) to get a simplified version of your website. That should allow you to view it in a basic form. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I see that this has been a request for a while now. I know you folks are busy busy with all sort of roll outs and you do a great job
but...... mobi IS the next BIG thing (heck even Obama would not let go of his black berry).
After reading "Wetpaint Announces Top 2008 Trends and Topics in Social Publishing and Predictions for 2009" its hard to believe there is no plan to add a mobi interface....

Shouldn't it be on option to type in a search term and get ALL relevant threads including NEWS, SUGGESTIONS, FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS, UPDATES, and any other post from any other source at wetpaint central?

I only know to search, add or start new threads of interest/concern, and then keeping an eye on the thread.

Please, "we" obviously know more about what is going on and how to find it. Won't you share your vast knowledge?

Thankfully, there is an answer to this problem, even if you don't own an iPhone. Opera Mini supports all Wetpaint features, besides editing of course. Download it here: http://www.opera.com/mini/ I am able to post threads, send messages, and use the site settings on my BlackBerry using this browser. Opera Mini supports almost all mobile phones, though I should warn you, if you do not have unlimited data, it may raise your bill.

Thank you Baby Apple for a wetpaint reply. Is this a recent development?( I ask cuz amtam asked this question back in june 08).

Marioman1000 and Roderigo (I think that is who "we" are) seem to know more about the status on this feature than the rest of us and have been kind enough to say tell us It is probably(?) being worked on for the next release and to be patient. As you are a wetpaint moderator, can you be more specific and tell us when does wetpaint plan for a mobi browser roll out? Do you find this valuable?

As far as I know, Wetpaint has always been supported by Opera Mini.

Baby_Apple doesn't work for Wetpaint. But this will be a tough task for Wetpaint, and I do hope it does happen Do you find this valuable?

True, I do not work for Wetpaint. I can tell you that this feature is NOT in development though, as I have already listed a solution for accessing Wetpaint from your mobile phone. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I am pretty good with Wetpaint, but can you edit using an iPod touch or iPhone? I think they have Java. Do you find this valuable?

Yes, they do have Java, and yes, you can use the basic editing features (writing) using the Safari browser.

can people upload pictures etc by mobile browser or is this considered "editing". Do you find this valuable?
