How about deleting photos??
May 29 2008, 1:34 AM EDT I had added a few photos before I realized they were over the size guideline. I then could find no way to delete them. Anyone know how to delete a photo? thank you 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 9 2008, 5:48 PM EDT I understand that only Moderator and above are able to delete photos from Photo Gallery--I'm the creator--but HOW? I can't find anywhere that say delete or remove photo. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 10 2008, 4:16 AM EDT Go into the Photo Gallery, click on the photo you want to delete, then select the "More tools" option for that photo and click on "Delete photo". 1 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: How about deleting photos??
Jun 17 2008, 5:32 AM EDT There was an option about a month ago (I used it at that time) but it seems to have disappeared. The only selection at "More tools" is to Report the Photo. To whom? How can a poster remove his own unwanted photos? Any advice would be appreciated. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 17 2008, 11:48 AM EDT "Go into the Photo Gallery, click on the photo you want to delete, then select the "More tools" option for that photo and click on "Delete photo"."I find it incredible that this advice is not more easily found. I would have thought that Wet Paint would have made it and a link for "Help" and "FAQ" more prominent. You have go round and round the mulberry bush umpteen times and dig deep to find this advice . I have been tearing my hair out for hours trying to find out how to delete a foto that was inserted in error. What's this about having to create an account to get credit for the thread?. I thought that you had to have an account before you could even get to write this message. Seems like the proverbial cart before the horse 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 17 2008, 12:12 PM EDT Some wikis, like Wetpaint Central, allow anonymous posting. The Join message is just there to get people to join a wiki they're contributing to. As for deleting photos, the Search function works quite well on Wetpaint Central and a search for "delete photo" comes up with quite a few results. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

It's understandable that you cannot delete another person's photo, Surely if you have logged in, in your own right and not somebody else's then that should be safeguard enough for not being able to delete someone else's work.. How about reinstating this right "Wet Paint"?. It would reduce a lot of unwanted clutter in Foto Gallery. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

What was Wet Pant's rationale for deleting this option? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jun 17 2008, 1:14 PM EDT Only Moderators and above can delete photos from the photo gallery. We put the same restrictions on Photos and Albums that we put on Pages. 0 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
