is it possible to unlock a page to update it when it has been locked? 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

Administrators, aka most probably yourself, can update pages regardless of whether it's locked or not locked. Locking a page only prevents anonymous users, or users not granted administrative powers, from editing it.

And of course, if you can lock it, you can unlock it to update it anytime.

The mods and admins can edit a locked page. Writers and down cannot. To unlock you just go to more tools. Then unlock page and everyone can edit it again. Do you find this valuable?
