I run the wiki for a college class and after the semester is complete those members no longer use the site - without having to ask them all to unsubscribe can I just remove them? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

You can bann them all individually. Just search this site using "banning members" as the key words and it will tell you how. Do you find this valuable?

Here is an easy answer.
Go to the members profile, click "Change permissions", then there will be a list of options, click the option "Banned"
There u go.
