We do not have one. Interesting suggestion though. What were your thoughts? Would this provide updates for a specific wiki made by users or for the main Wetpaint site?

3. RE: Does Wetpaint have its own widget?

I have a blog on Blogger and I have 2 wetpaint wikis. Some time ago I put a widget for one of the wikis on my blog (it works strangely -- puts the latest replies posted -- but it's good) and now I want to put a similar widget for the other wiki onto the same blog, and I can't figure out how I did it. The wiki is askgeneva.wetpaint.com, but this is the script: <script src="http://widgets.clearspring.com/o/491a032f7c2f20bc/4967dea345b8a79c/491a032f7c2f20bc/d5810091/widget.js" type="text/javascript"></script> I don't remember using "clearspring.com" -- I went to that site, but couldn't figure it out. Any insight would be appreciated. This should be available under "How to promote your site". I want to promote the wikis on the blog, not the other way around. . Do you find this valuable? |

Well, Wetapint does have their own widgets, but they're not called "widgets", they're called "Droplets". To find these Droplets go to the bar below your site's banner, and click on the button that says "droplets"

Thank you! I saw them and I remember now -- that's how I did it before. The droplets-widgets are better now than when I first did it. You have a choice of what to show. Maybe somewhere on wetpaint they might tell people that widgets = droplets & droplets = widgets?? . Do you find this valuable? |

Sorry, I wrote the above, thinking I was still signed in.I put the droplets on my Blogger blog, and they look fine. Then I wanted to rename one, that worked fine. Then I wanted to delete one, I didn't check if it worked or not. Then I wanted to rename the renamed one AGAIN :-( , and it just went round & round, trying to access the site where they are stored. Then I saw that the "deleted" one was still there, so I clicked on "edit" and it said something about "Blogger was unable to comply with your request....". I think I tried to do too much at once. I will sign out and back in and try again. But, I love the droplets, anyway. Do you find this valuable? |

"Sorry, I wrote the above, thinking I was still signed in.Yeah, I think it just overwhelmed your computer. Do things a little more slowly, that will probably help. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Thanks for the answer. That's one problem with Mac computers -- you expect them to always to 50 things at once, and once in a while, they don't.Regarding a "WetPaint widget" --I would like to put one on my blog to advertise Wet Paint the wiki farm. Something like: "Click here to start your own easy, free wiki". and "What's a wiki" Do you find this valuable? |
