Permission Settings at the Page Level

Have you ever considered allowing page creators to set permissions for specific pages? It would be very useful if site administrators could make specific pages only viewable by members even if they set the overall site to public view. 15  out of 16 found this valuable. Do you?

And also to set some pages as editable by all, while others as editable by those invited only.

You lock it. Only administrators can access locked pages. You just upgrade people who you want to view the page to administrators

I agree. It would make things a lot more secure if you wanted to use this site for a "team" or "group" site. They should implement it. It wouldn't be that difficult. WetPaint should have the option to lock a page and set a password. That way when you try to open that page a box pops up asking for a password.in order to access the page.

Who could we contact to have them add it. Or does anyone know how develop something like that on this?

Thanks

It actually would not be very easy with our current permissions setup. We're considering ways that we could offer something similar to a protected area in the future. Thanks for the suggestion! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
