More Header/Logo help needed
Apr 18 2008, 10:23 PM EDT
Hi, I've been able to find good information (using the search this wiki box, and the FAQ etc) on changing the logo image at the top of my wiki pages.
However, I'd really like to have a whole "header" across the top of may page, and not just a logo image or text at the upper left corner of my pages.
My wiki is http://redmtn.wetpaint.com/ and right now the logo image is not looking good (April 18 2008).
The Discovery Channel Deadliest Catch wiki
http://www.deadliest-catch-wiki.discovery.com/
has a very complex header. I did a view page source on that, and it is clear they are using frames, and it looks like a mix of html served from the
Discovery Channel web server and the wetpaint server. That is too complicated for me to figure out.

Anyway, I've seen a few other wetpaint sites with nicer headers than mine.
Maybe the issue is more complex than I think, and don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. This is a free service here
and I feel I am getting way more than I expected already. But if there is a simple way to may the top of my pages look
better, I seem to be missing it.

Thanks for all you've done so far! I love this site SO much more than other things I've used for similar puproses!

Wow your right; the Discovery Channel header for deadliest catch is awesome. No idea how they pulled it off maybe they have a custom URL or site hosting it and then just copy and paste it in. I know we aren't able to HTML edit on the wetpaint wikis yet. Well except if its in an iFrame but still. You have me curious now how they did it. Do you find this valuable?
