Do you not like this feature? Please say why. I am going to find this very useful as now I can remove my main gallery page and put it up there. Some people it is pointless for but for some very useful. I find To-Dos pointless and a waste of space as they make the site look not as professional. Why don't you like the Photo Gallery?

You can delete any photo from the gallery if you're a Moderator or above.

Ive also heard the complaint on my site when an RU cannot delete their own photos. they messaged me to delete it but they were very aggrivated that they couldnt do it themself. Maybe you could change it so every can delete their own photo, but only Mods+ can delete other member's photos?

The deleted photos report is visible only to moderators and up. It shows photos that have been deleted from the photo gallery.

Just asking because I foresee having to make a large portion of my site membership moderators, just so they can delete their old photos. We are sharing property improvements and such, so the older diagrams posted become confusing. Perhaps the ability of RU to delete old photos could become optional by site administrators? By the way, was the "Writer" category removed, or does that just not show up on my site? ~JoAnn Johnson 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

writers are linked to permissions. settings>permissions> I want to change these settings> only people I invite (can edit pages... the 3rd).And voila! you have writers. But registered users won't be able to edit pages any more. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

And one more thing. Wouldn't it be nice if the record could be deleted once and for all by an admin or creator? So, no one can see any of the deleted pics? Or them to be deleted forever after a certain time?I have a stupid notification on my updates that tells me I have/had questionable content on my site. But that's only because WP can't tell the way a word is used in a certain context. I wish I could delete that because it gets on my nerves. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

My thoughts are that, the user that originally posted the photo(s) should be able to delete the photo(s). As well as the normal moderators and up, does anyone agree with me?
