Calendar allows me to share but it seems it is all or nothing.

The calendar allows me to share but when you make it public it is all or nothing with the calendar. People can edit, addl whatever. It would be really nice if people could see but not change the calendar seems there is a bog window for horseplay otherwise.

I don't use the calendar, so I'm not sure, but does it have a lock page option? You might be able to lock it like any other page. Do you find this valuable?
