Wetpaint, Downhill
Apr 9 2008, 10:52 AM EDT Is it me or has Wetpaint been going downhill today? I think it's because of the Photo Gallery release. Yesterday (before Photo Gallery release) everything on Wetpaint was working fine and today (after Photo Gallery release) it's not. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 9 2008, 10:58 AM EDT "WOw! Hey maybe thats why I am having trouble with my site! It wont change back to invite only for me!"Well, the amount of threads that people are posting on here saying that stuff isn't working today, it most probably is the recent Photo Galley release that's doing it. I think that Wetpaint should role the release back to before they added it. That'll sort everything out, hopefully. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Apr 9 2008, 12:34 PM EDT "Can you share more detail on what is not working? We'd love to help. I believe BookLover4Ever's problem has been resolved. "There's a number of things. Firstly adding images are slower because of the Photo Gallery release. Secondly, I don't want all of the images that I add to go to the Photo Gallery and thirdly... I have no need for the Photo Gallery release seeing as though I've got aload of pages as Galleries on my wikis anyway. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 9 2008, 12:52 PM EDT Adding images are slower for you? For me, I can't even add an image! Whenever I click on the "photo in computer or hard-drive" button, it pops up, I find the image, and choose it, I enter the description and name, and in the end IT ISN'T EVEN THERE! I've tried to add my ONE image, and I can't. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO? Do you find this valuable? |

You have to do that then cancel the add image save the page, refresh the page, go back into the page click add image and it'll be there. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Wetpaint, Downhill
Apr 9 2008, 2:13 PM EDT The thing is with this release is that you (Wetpaint) put this release on to help us with galleries on our wikis but it's actually making it worst. So what I'm really saying is that your help is not helping, what would really help is that you should roll back the release and work on something more worthwhile and that works. Apr 9 2008, 2:15 PM EDT I think it is a good idea but it is slow, very slow. I like the photo gallery but maybe have an option to speed up the process. Do you find this valuable? |

RE: Wetpaint, Downhill
Apr 9 2008, 4:40 PM EDT I've just had a great thought for how you could make this release better so that it doesn't annoy me. You could take away the stuff to do with the Photo Gallery when adding an image, what I mean is the extra stuff which is when you have to add it to the Photo Gallery first before you can add the image. You could leave that just for when people go into the Photo Gallery to add images and not when adding images to a page even though the add the image from Photo Gallery still comes up. This will make it much faster and almost like it was before the Photo Gallery was released. If I'm not making any sense then please reply back and I'll try and explain it in a more simply way. Apr 9 2008, 4:56 PM EDT You don't have to add a Photo to the Gallery before adding it to the page. You can still add a Photo from Yahoo! or from your machine or from the web, just like before. Do you find this valuable? |

If you took that away then it would speed up the process. Do you find this valuable? |

I am on Firefox, and don't know if any of the issues are bugs with the browser. I've tried refreshing, and the rest, but to no avail. Please Help! Do you find this valuable? |
