Multiple people signed up with the same User Name - only one profile
Apr 3 2008, 7:33 AM EDT http://poolwerxzees.wetpaint.com I have invited a number fo people to join. Several have joinied. But three different people have all joined with the same user name! As reported on the what's new page - Poolwerx, Feb 24 2008, 4:19 AM EST - Poolwerx joined our community, Today, 2:06 AM EDT - Poolwerx joined our community, Monday, 7:32 PM EDT But there is only the one profile, showing as joined Feb 28 - Member since: Feb 24 2008, 4:19 AM Now that I call a BUG! Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 3 2008, 10:45 AM EDT The reason you're seeing three entries is that Poolwerx was sent, and has accepted, multiple invitations. Each entry corresponds to a specific invitation that Poolwerx has accepted. The first one was on 2/24, so that's the date his profile says he joined. We probably should suppress multiple entries for the same account. Thanks for pointing this out. Do you find this valuable? |

Not surprisingly, a lot of people would opt for a user name of PoolWerx. So it is quite likely three different people all signed on with the same name! Not the same person accepting an invitation three times. ( I have not sent repeated invitations. Do you find this valuable? |

Apr 10 2008, 9:37 AM EDT I'm positive that the same person has accepted 3 invitations from 3 different email addresses. Duplicate usernames are not allowed at a database level - the name cannot be saved if it's not unique. Do you find this valuable? |
