I have a weird feeling here........

it doesn't seem possible how this site get's a huge amount of users everyday. They join and then leave, then u never see them again. Dont be mad at me but my feeling is wetpaint is making all the users up. That's just what i think. Please dont delet this i want to know what other users say.

No, that many people have really joined this wiki voluntarily . The main reason is because when you click "help" on your own wiki, it takes you here to Wetpaint Central. A lot of people join this site and read the information, but not everyone is an active member that posts in the discussion forum.

Wetpaint would need to have a lot of free time to bother doing that. Most people just ask one thing and probaly don't come back to see the answer.

i know but it just seems so weird! They like all have 1 page edit and then log off and then never ever come back! They only join

Yeah, some people only join just for the sake of joining. Wetpaint doesn't make them up.

There may be. They may just sign in this wiki and then realise that they just can't be bothered to stay any longer. I know the first time I visited the site I left straight away after I signed in. Then I got intrested in this wiki.

Wetpaint wouldn't just make people up then add themthat would be a waste of time people who work for wetpaint don't get paid to make up users all day and add them to wetpaint central that would be a bad use of emploies 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Some people might join just to advertise their own site a few times and then leave and not come back. Or they might just join for fun and then decide that they'd rather just stay anonymous.

You can't forget, this is Wetpaint CENTRAL. Here, there is information on how to run a wiki, a place to report bugs, make suggestions, and even a page where you can see the top 500 wikis. Of course it's popular, even if someone only signs in once or twice and never gets back on. There are billions of people in this world, and alot of them have computers.
