RE: Google Transalations
Mar 22 2008, 7:32 PM EDT There is a way to translate a site into another language for viewing. First go to www.google.com Next to the search box select Language Tools Scroll down the page until you see "Translate A Web Page" Copy and Paste your url for your wiki site into the window with the "http://" In the Drop down box next to the Translate button select the language pair to tanslate. This will translate your entire site. Your translated site will appear in a new window. When the new site appears,. Copy the url from the url address window of your browser. You can also grab a thumbnail of the country's flag on the Google language tool page. Use easy edit on your wiki page and create a link using the url address just copied. The translated page is read-only, you cannot perform edits in the translated site. To see these instructions and an example of a language translator bar, view this page. http://splats.wetpaint.com/page/Language+Translation Do you find this valuable? |
