Becoming a Moderator in an Ophaned Wiki
Mar 20 2008, 3:49 PM EDT I have been contributing to the Small Business Secret Weapons wiki. There is spamming going on in areas of the wiki that as a contributor I cannot delete. The moderators and creator have not contributed to the site since September 2007. I assume they have lost interest in the site. I have sent a message to all three of them asking if I could moderate the site since I have interest in it. It has been 10 days and I have not heard from any of them. What do you suggest I do? 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

Mar 21 2008, 2:04 PM EDT I am afraid that wiki has been left for so long it is unlikely for them to return. Some people may not be as commited to a wiki as you are. Try and find a similar wiki. Even show them all you have done at previous wikis. I am sure they will be happy to accept you. Even start up your own similar wiki. This happens to lots of sites. The fact that it was completely free means that people don't value it in any way. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
