Categorizing threads
Mar 16 2008, 10:42 AM EDT
I would like to request this idea, since I got the inspiration from Members Page. It showed "when it registered", "how much contributions", etc. So it would be good to see threads being categorized. Like "most replies", "latest thread", etc.

And there could be an RSS Feed option.

Hope this will be reviewed!

Thanks for the suggestion. Have you considered using the keyword tag groups feature to categorize groups? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Not yet. But if keywords would be more viewable to wider audiences, rather than to just keep it on the search page, than it would be better.

Hopefully this feature would be added, to make wetpaint (for every wetpainter) to be a much better experience.

If you like what you see, post a reply

"Thanks for the suggestion. Have you considered using the keyword tag groups feature to categorize groups?"
I have generated a keyword tag group on my site, but for a different purpose.

My site is a class site where I post lesson content and activities. Students also submit/create/post their own work in response to the activities on the same site.

I want to collate all the thread posts I make directed to students (as opposed to my own blogging reflections) which I have done using the Keyword Tag Groups.

The next step I wanted to go to with this is to then generate an RSS feed for the students to subscribe to that contained just these (keyword tag group) threads (not ALL new thread posts).

Not sure if this is what the thread creator had in mind, but it would be helpful for me. I have searched the wetpaint central for information to no avail.
