I need to restrict invites to administrators!
Mar 12 2008, 3:21 PM EDT I have private sites and need to control who gets invited as new members - Is there some way I can limit the capability of inviting new members to administrators? If not, could you please add that capability? Thanks! Do you find this valuable? |

Mar 12 2008, 11:27 PM EDT At the moment this can not be done but it is a great suggestion. What you should do is change the users invited as Admins to your wanted position after they join. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Regarding your suggestion to change invited users' status from admin to a desired position, that really doesn't help because I may not even want them as members regardless of their status. The ultimate setup from my point of view would be for me (as site admin) to be able to explicitely select the privileges for each class of member for the site - one such privilege being the capability of inviting others (or not). Thanks again! Do you find this valuable? |
