Why are we suddenly in undated with flashing adds?....we only had the little google adds that were related to what you were doing before that. They are terribly annoying when you are working...nobody said these big flashing adds would start up at any stage when the site was created. How come suddenly you have to pay? $20 a month is a lot of money if you are only on a fan site...everyone will leave!....Does each member have to pay this..or just the site owner?

After struggling to ignore the new flashing banner ads and the new flashing navigation bar ads (heck, I even tried to out wait them ....) I give up. I will NOT be adding my additional 4 sites to wetpaint. I have been working with wetpaint for over 1 year. had a break and when I returned, found the most annoying FLASHING ads ALL OVER THE PLACE. It is impossible to focus on the pages for editing. ALL 4 OF my NEW SITES that WERE GOING to be ADDED TO WETPAINT will GO TO ANOTHER SITE instead. I will vote with my money and pay another hosting site rather than pay wetpaint to delete the ads on a FREE site. These ads are counterproductive. They convince me TO NOT BUY any thing from them. I want to get away from the page they are on as fast as possible. Its as bad as having Billy Mays yelling at me to buy some new miracle product and they don't stop! Do you find this valuable? |

I only hope that we don't get adds that float across your page when you are looking at something.. and the flashing ones are annoying. If I go to any site on the internet that has either types of adds I go else where.
