Mar 6 2008, 9:29 PM EST If I pay for an ad free site, Will Wetpaint help enforce the user conduct policies? I have been trying to get rid of a TROLL on my spirituality based web site, but he can just sign in using a different e-mail. I have not found a way to block his IP addresses. I have banned him 19 times now and removed numinous threads that he has posted and now he has sent threatening e-mails to all members of my site. I cant sit at home all day trying to stop his activity. Will I have some control over hew signs up instead of this free sign up thing ware I don't even get a chance to approve members before letting them in? 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

"Signing up to the Ad-Free Test Program does not mean you will get any extra help or features, just the ads will disappear. Mar 7 2008, 2:22 AM EST Yes, I have done these thing you have listed. Dictator-Of-Doom has friends in different states to sign up for him. He also uses different IPs within his area. I finally had to lock my site. Now the advertising that I have done to promote my site is useless because now, no one can view my site or sign up without an invitation. Do you find this valuable? |

Mar 7 2008, 9:05 PM EST I have set up another site called "TAGS LIMBO" I now use this site to evaluate people that I would like to invite to the real site. Of course Dictator-Of-Doom got directed to the new site when he tried to log into my real site and now he is there using a different name posting his hate messages. Thats ok though.
