This is great! But you could have left the latest discussions and pages where it was. Also the 'Add page' option could have been left at the top of the page. Apart from those, the new layout is absolutely fabulous. 0  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

The Dashboard and the Linking options are also a good part of the release. Next time, could you consider another option where it allows you to see the dead links on the site? (I know it is hard for huge sites) 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

its good, that right hand bar was making people have to change computer screen settings if they were not on a widescreen laptop or larger screen. So top class. My biggest problem is inserting pictures on a page. It is like using the first microsoft word, with pictures taking on a mind of their own and moving each other around even when I am not logged on. I seem to spend most of my time dealing with that. But wetpaint has been great for me in general thanks again. richard@ www.googleearthireland.com 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I don't have a problem with the new stuff now that I realize it is NEW STUFF. Maybe you sent something out to all users but if you did, I did not get it. (Could be your Comcast email problem). If you didn't I wqould suggest that when you do a new release you must let people know it is coming and what the new UI is going to be like (where they can find what they used to tihnk was great). "How do you change the names and links on navigator bar?"
click 'more tools' at the top of the page and select 'rename page' - that will change the names in the left hand nav panel for wiki pages. Except the home page which is always named home in the nav bar.

I love the new layout and the relocation of the tools. Just one thing, you mention that site admins and creators will have a promotion link next to My profile and Settings and I don't have that, how do I get that added to my account? 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

The promotion link doesn't show on private sites. Since the site is private, there's no need for the SEO promotion tools. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I hate it personally, I run a role play site and it is hard to see which roleplay threads are active!

I agree! I HATE it! Sorry but it is HORRIBLE (No offense!) I agree with the other Anonymous! What was wrong with the old layout? The page seems much to over crowed! AND you know how that book seris Warriors by erin hunter is a MAJOR role play hit on wetpaint? WEll we can't tell who is repling to what thread without going onto the new page! I LOVE the old layout! Change it back! 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I and the other moderators of Wetpaint Central use the Discussion Forum. All threads go to the discussion forum, regardless of which page they're on.

Wetpaint Central has hundreds of active threads every day and we have no trouble keeping on top of all of them.

Yes but I am not the only one to say this but th new page takes a long time to load and by the time it is loaded its not as up to date! I liked it when you could get onto the home page and see on the side what threads were active! Now the pages may not seem as actrive if a NEW person gets on and doesn't relize that people that are willing to help are on! It doesn't look like it is as updated or much fun! 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I don't like it! It's way too hard to check for updates, it's slower, and seems more enclosed! Argh! It's frustrating! I want the old version back! 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I find the new changes a huge improvement. Removing the 3rd pane allows for more content to be displayed and that is what it is all about. Once users get used to the new location of the tools I think they will see the real benefit of the changes. The wikis I use are viewed on all sorts of screen resolutions and the removal of the 3rd pane makes this much easier from a design point of view. The addition of the "Promote" and "What's New" pages are really nice additions. They typify what wetpaint is all about and that is a really slick visual site. Thanks for the improvements. 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?
