What do you think of google analytics?

My experience has been a bit mixed. I like the high-level view but doing pathway analysis for particular URLs can be challenging, considering that they treat URLs with different name-value-pairs as distinct URLs.

For example, if I have a urls that are http://www.mysite.com/Foo.do?p=1 and Foo.do?p=2, you can't do an aggregate pathway analysis of just Foo.do for example.

That particular issues doesn't really apply when you use GA for a Wetpaint site. Wetpaint pages each have their own unique URL that corresponds to the page name. Do you find this valuable?

I think it's better than SiteMeter because you don't have to have multiple login names for each of your wikis (if you have more than one). Also google analytics is better at displaying the wiki stats because it uses charts and graphs to display the information. I have tried using SiteMeter but I got fed up with it and in my view google analytics is better at this stuff. It helps when you've got five wikis about different subjects and you only need the one login name. I rate it as excellent. :D Do you find this valuable?
