Make it optional - WYSIWG or HTML editor.
That way people can start basic, then alter enhance their pages if they care to take the time to learn HTML. And HTML experienced will be happy.

Or just have both and say when creating a wiki don't use these tools until your experienced. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree that HTML editing would be awesome. I also want either some control of my CSS or the ability to directly alter the style of headers. I'm having a document formatting war at the moment, as I want my headers and subheaders to look different (none of the provided styles appear to do this) and the other person refuses to not use the actual header/subheader tags. Do you find this valuable?
