It depends on what the native language is whether it can be don without making a new site. Please check out the instructions on my wiki on how to translate a site into different languages.

http://widgetwiki.wetpaint.com/page/Language+Translation

hope this works for you.

Here is how everyone that has translators on their sites do it.

First go to www.google.com
Next to the search box select Language Tools
Scroll down the page until you see "Translate A Web Page"
Copy and Paste your url for your wiki site into the window with the "http://"
In the Drop down box next to the Translate button select English to Portugese.
This will translate your entire site. Your translated site will appear in a new window.
When the new site appears,. Copy the url from the url address window. You can also
grab a thumbnail of the country's flag on the Google language tool page.
Use easy edit on your wiki page and create a link using the url address just copied.

I need the User Interface translated into Spanish. This interface include ALL the messages from the system and therefore the use of translator robots as Google is not a serious option.

Get somebody to translate it for you. They're straightforward. I translate Spanish to English, however, on the Wiki I moderate I've been translating things like Wiki Guidelines, etc. into Spanish no problem, likewise I'm doing some of the episode summaries and really it's no big deal.
As for user interfaces these really are basic for anybody with a good knowledge of say Spanish, French or whatever to translate from English

Resumiendo:
What I need is the file with the original English text strings that I can translate into Spanish so my future members (all Spanish-speaking people without knowledge about English) can Sign-Up into a comfortable environment. And, therefore, I need a way for upload the translated file too.

A vale, no te había pillado. Creí que era simplemente traducir la web, que es lo que estamos haciendo la wiki de NCIS - de hecho creo que somos la única web políglota ya que conviven varios idiomas junto con el inglés como idioma principal.
Te agradezco la aclaración
